A celebrative exhibition dedicated to the builder of the Island, Vitaliano Borromeo VI (1620-1692), after 400 years from his birth, will be held from 20th March to 2nd September 2020 in the Reception Room of Palazzo Borromeo of Isola Bella.
The exhibition will alternate paintings, documents and graphic testimonies to point out the figure of this versatile character and its ambitious, decorative and architechtural project.

Isola Bella and Parco Pallavicino: From 20 March to 31 March 2020 from 09:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m. (last entrance), Palaces close at 04:30 p.m., gardens and Parco Pallavicino at 05:00 p.m. In occasion of the festivities, the opening hours will be from 09:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. (last entrance), Palaces close at 06:30 p.m., gardens and Parco Pallavicino at 07:00 p.m. We kindly inform that the visit of Palazzo Borromeo and the Garden of Isola Bella won’t be possible on 12 september 2020. The opening and closure times of museums and gardens are subject to modifications for extraordinary events. |
